Donation Policy

How donations are received, recorded, receipted, and used for Al-Itqan's charitable work.

Keeping policies current Al-Itqan keeps its policies, safeguarding approach, and online service arrangements under review as services develop.

General Donation

General Donation supports Al-Itqan's charitable purposes, online education, safeguarding, learning resources, and future services.

Zakat

Zakat donations are recorded as a restricted fund so they can be reviewed and administered separately from general donations. Al-Itqan does not imply that every activity is automatically Zakat-eligible.

Secure giving

Stripe is the intended provider for one-off donations, recurring monthly donations, card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and receipts.

Gift Aid

Eligible UK taxpayers may make a Gift Aid declaration. Gift Aid is treated as available, with claim records prepared carefully and reviewed on a quarterly cycle.

Restricted purposes

Restricted donation categories, including Zakat, are recorded separately so the purpose, wording, accounting treatment, and reporting route remain clear.
