Students study Qur'an translation and themes, Qur'anic vocabulary, basic Qur'anic Arabic, Tafsir, Fiqh, Hadith, Islamic character and Tarbiyyah, contemporary youth issues, and dedicated Q&A/discussion. Journey Through the Qur'an

A Complete Qur'an Study Programme designed to take students through the entire Qur'an with understanding, reflection and practical learning.

What students will study

  • Translation and explanation of the Qur'an
  • Key themes, messages, tafsir discussions and background context
  • Fiqh topics such as purification, prayer, zakah, inheritance, family matters and daily Islamic rulings
  • Core matters of Islamic belief and 'aqidah
  • Seerah, Prophetic lessons, battles and historical events where mentioned in the Qur'an
  • Qur'anic vocabulary, repeated words, basic Arabic grammar, nahw and sarf principles
  • Tarbiyah sessions focused on Islamic character, manners and spiritual development
  • Practical lessons, questions, answers and guided discussion

Students will be placed into a suitable group according to their age, level and class preference.

Students who successfully complete the programme will receive a Certificate of Completion from Al-Itqan Institute. Certificates will be awarded based on attendance, participation and completion of course requirements.

These sessions support students in developing Islamic character, manners, discipline, spiritual awareness and a stronger connection with Allah.

The tarbiyah element helps students connect Qur'anic learning with real life, including worship, family conduct, personal behaviour, community responsibility and daily decision-making as Muslims.

  • Qur'an Classes and Arabic Language are monthly one-to-one class pathways. Youth Islamic Studies is a structured weekend pathway with age-appropriate levels.
  • Qur'an Classes, Arabic, the Youth Islamic Studies Pathway, Islamic Studies and Contemporary Issues, and Journey Through the Qur’an include an introductory assessment or information session before paid sessions begin where appropriate.
  • Course payments and donations remain separate.
  • Payment details, class links, and resources are shared by Al-Itqan after review and confirmation.

All students receive access to a monthly tarbiyyah session focused on faith, character, adab, and spiritual development.

Classes are supervised by Al-Itqan's senior Islamic education lead to support quality, safeguarding, and consistency.
