Al-Itqan Young Learners Islamic Programme

An online Islamic Studies programme for young learners aged 8-13, designed to build a strong foundation in Islamic knowledge, manners, character, worship and connection with Allah.

A structured Qur’an study programme for young learners, covering translation, tafsir, key Islamic topics, Qur’anic vocabulary, Tarbiyah and practical guidance in an age-appropriate way.

Curriculum

Journey Through the Qur'an

A Complete Qur'an Study Programme designed to take students through the entire Qur'an with understanding, reflection and practical learning.

What students will study

Translation and explanation of the Qur'an
Key themes, messages, tafsir discussions and background context
Fiqh topics such as purification, prayer, zakah, inheritance, family matters and daily Islamic rulings
Core matters of Islamic belief and 'aqidah
Seerah, Prophetic lessons, battles and historical events where mentioned in the Qur'an
Qur'anic vocabulary, repeated words, basic Arabic grammar, nahw and sarf principles
Tarbiyah sessions focused on Islamic character, manners and spiritual development
Practical lessons, questions, answers and guided discussion

Includes: Qur'an study, discussion, Q&A and Tarbiyah sessions

Youth 14-17: Saturday 11:00 AM-11:50 AM UK time

Students will be placed into a suitable group according to their age, level and class preference.

Students who successfully complete the programme will receive a Certificate of Completion from Al-Itqan Institute. Certificates will be awarded based on attendance, participation and completion of course requirements.

Tarbiyah included

These sessions support students in developing Islamic character, manners, discipline, spiritual awareness and a stronger connection with Allah.

The Tarbiyah element helps students connect Qur'anic learning with real life, including worship, family conduct, personal behaviour, community responsibility and daily decision-making as Muslims.

An advanced scholar-led Islamic Studies programme for older students seeking deeper Qur'anic understanding, practical guidance, Tarbiyah, and confident discussion of contemporary questions. Students study Qur'an translation and themes, Qur'anic vocabulary, basic Qur'anic Arabic, Tafsir, Fiqh, Hadith, Islamic character and Tarbiyah, contemporary youth issues, and dedicated Q&A/discussion. Students who complete the programme receive an Al-Itqan Institute Certificate of Completion.

Qur'an Classes and Arabic Language are monthly one-to-one class pathways. Youth Islamic Studies is a structured weekend pathway with age-appropriate levels.
Qur'an Classes, Arabic, Journey Through the Qur’an, and the Al-Itqan Young Learners Islamic Programme include an introductory assessment or information session before paid sessions begin where appropriate. Youth Islamic Studies Pathway and Islamic Studies & Contemporary Issues are Coming Soon.
Course payments and donations remain separate.
