Are classes online?
Yes. Classes are online. Class links and learning resources are provided privately after registration and confirmation.
Are classes one-to-one?
Qur'an Classes and Arabic Language are arranged as one-to-one online classes. Youth Islamic Studies runs as a structured weekend group pathway for young Muslims.
How are online sessions accessed?
Classes and counselling sessions use private Al-Itqan access links shared only after review and confirmation.
Are introductory unpaid sessions offered?
Qur'an Classes, Arabic, Youth Islamic Studies Pathway, and Islamic Studies and Contemporary Issues include a free introductory assessment where appropriate. Paid sessions begin after the introductory class if both sides agree to continue.
How much are Qur'an classes?
Qur'an Classes are £45/month for one-to-one online learning: 30 minutes per day across five days, with one weekly Islamic Studies session and monthly tarbiyyah included.
How much are Arabic classes?
Arabic Language is £50/month for one-to-one online learning: 30-minute sessions, three days per week, with monthly tarbiyyah included.
What is the Youth Islamic Studies Pathway?
The Youth Islamic Studies Pathway supports ages 11-15 through Foundation or Development level placement after assessment, while the Islamic Studies and Contemporary Issues Programme supports learners aged 16+ through a fixed 6-month weekend pathway.
How much are the youth programmes?
Islamic Foundations and Islamic Development are £45/month for ages 11-15. Islamic Studies and Contemporary Issues is £55/month for ages 16+. All youth levels run on weekends, two days per week, for one hour per class.
Who are the youth programmes for?
The 11-15 pathway is for young Muslims building strong foundations or developing beyond the basics. The 16+ advanced programme is for older learners who want deeper Qur'anic understanding, practical guidance, and confident discussion of contemporary questions.
What does Islamic Studies and Contemporary Issues cover?
The advanced programme includes Qur'an translation and themes, Qur'anic vocabulary, basic Qur'anic Arabic, Tafsir, Fiqh, Hadith, Islamic character and tarbiyyah, contemporary youth issues, and a Q&A or discussion section.
What certificate is awarded for the advanced programme?
Students who complete the programme receive an Al-Itqan Institute Certificate of Completion from Al-Itqan Institute.
Which youth levels are open?
Islamic Foundations and Islamic Development are live/open at £45/month for ages 11-15. Islamic Studies and Contemporary Issues is live/open at £55/month for ages 16+.
Is counselling live?
Yes. Counselling and family guidance booking requests are available, with sessions confirmed by the team.
How long is counselling?
Sessions are 50 minutes.
How much is counselling?
Individual counselling is £50 for 50 minutes. Family or couple counselling is £70 per session. The full counselling package is £100 and includes two 50-minute sessions plus two weeks of follow-up guidance by email or WhatsApp.
How do donations work?
The donation pathway supports General Donation and Zakat, fixed amounts, custom amounts, one-off giving, recurring monthly giving, donor phone capture, and Gift Aid declarations for eligible UK taxpayers. No payment is taken until Stripe checkout opens and completes successfully.
Is Gift Aid available?
Yes. Gift Aid is available for eligible UK taxpayers. Al-Itqan plans to prepare Gift Aid claim records quarterly.
Is Stripe used?
Stripe is used where Al-Itqan provides a secure payment route. For class enrolment and counselling, the team confirms payment arrangements after review.
How do student accounts work?
For launch, Al-Itqan reviews registrations manually and contacts families by email with the next steps. Under-18 learners are registered with parent or guardian details.
How do teacher accounts work?
Teacher applicants submit the Apply to Teach form. Al-Itqan reviews suitability, subjects, and availability before contacting the applicant with the next steps.
